The Association is a not-for-profit, incorporated company (limited by guarantee), which largely draws its income from its membership base, through member subscriptions.
Finances of the Association are managed on a centralised basis through the National Office, and are overseen by the Council of the Association, as well as being independently audited on annual basis, as is the requirement under the Australian Security and Investments Commission.
- Have you ever wondered how the Speech Pathology Australia budget operates?
- How the Association decides how it allocates your membership fees to activities?
- How you should go about submitting a budget proposal for your idea?
- Or are you currently responsible for managing some of the Speech Pathology Australia budget and aren’t too sure about what that means?
