Making a Complaint

A member of the public or a member of the Association can make a complaint about a member of Speech Pathology Australia (the Association) if they believe there has been a breach of the Association's Code of Ethics.

Complaints are received by the Senior Advisor, Ethics and Professional Issues in the Association's National Office.

If you have a query regarding the Association's Code of Ethics, want to speak with someone regarding an issue related to the Code of Ethics, or you want to lodge a complaint, contact the Association's Senior Advisor, Ethics and Professional Issues.

The Senior Advisor, Ethics and Professional Issues will contact you by telephone to explain the complaints process in detail. Complaints about non-members will be directed to contact the relevant state government service (e.g. Health Services Commissioner).

Feedback may be provided directly to Speech Pathology Australia. All feedback will be acknowledged and acted upon where this is required.
