Community Contribution
The award
Granted by the Association to recognise outside agencies who have made a significant and valuable contribution to speech pathology.
Eligibility
The Award is open to any agency outside of speech pathology that has contributed to the promotion of speech pathology.
Nominations
- Please see the details in Policy 7.7 which also includes the nomination form and prescribed points pro forma.
- Nominations should include written supporting information of up to 250 words describing the contribution made by the nominated agency, the outcomes achieved by the nominee to benefit speech pathology, Speech Pathology Australia or the community in terms of speech pathology.
Selection criteria will be based on:
- the level at which the contribution occurred
- the type of contribution provided
- the period of time over which the contribution occurred
- whether the contribution assisted in portfolio goals
The prize
The Community Contribution Award shall be given in the form of a commemorative plaque
