Student Awards
A Student Award is granted by the Association to one final year student from each Australian university with an accredited entry level speech pathology program. The award recognises speech pathology students who have distinguished themselves through outstanding academic achievements including research and/or excellent clinical achievements throughout their course .
Nomination Process
Each university determines the winner of the Student Award in the way that best suits their institution. This may include (but is not limited to) grade point average or staff or supervisor's nomination. Each university notifies National Office of their selection and arrangements are made for presentation of the awards (which may be at Branch meetings, graduation ceremonies or other award ceremonies as determined by each individual university).

The Prize
The value of each award will be equivalent to up to the fee set for an upgrading Student Member who has been a member of the Association for one year. The Prize will be used towards membership of the Association in the nominated year (or the following year if the winner has already renewed/joined the Association for the nominated year).
