Sensory Connections Workshop: The Action is in the Interaction. A Workshop for those working with children with neurodevelopmental challenges including autistic spectrum disorders. Presented by: Mari Caulfield, Speech and Language Pathologist, Galway, Ireland and Kathy Walmsley, Occupational Therapist, Perth, Australia, DIR ® Training Faculty.
Overview: The Developmental, Individual Difference, Relationship-based model - DIR (R), a theoretical and applied framework for comprehensive intervention, examines the developmental capacities of children in the context of their unique biologicallly based processing profile, their family relationships and interactive patterns.
