What is speechBITE™?
speechBITE™is a free searchable database available on the internet that gives you access to the best evidence across all areas of speech pathology intervention. speechBITE™ indexes peer reviewed research articles from all levels of evidence including: systematic reviews, randomised controlled trials, non-randomised controlled trials, case series and single subject designs.
To help in interpreting the quality of research, many of the studies have a rating score out of 10. This score indicates the methodological quality and interpretability of the research.
The speechBITE™ database covers the entire scope of speech pathology professional practice and includes many different types of interventions, e.g.; group therapy, technological, computer-based, pharmacological and complementary /alternative therapies.
