Shortlist

Speech Pathology Australia is delighted to announce the shortlist for the 2026 Book of the Year Awards. This annual award, judged by a panel of Certified Practising Speech Pathologists, highlights quality Australian books that help children get the best start in life by promoting language and literacy development.

Congratulations to this year’s shortlisted authors, illustrators and publishers for their outstanding contributions. The winners will be announced on 28 October.
