Speech Pathology Australia (the Association) produces a range of publications for members. All publications are distributed as a member benefit. Members should visit the Member Portal to gain access to these publications.

National eNews

The National eNews is distributed twice a month to all SPA members. It provides the latest Association news and information for our membership.

Branch eNews

The Branch eNews is distributed once a month to members by their Branch (VIC, ACT/NSW, QLD, NT, WA, SA and TAS). It provides the latest Branch relevant Association news and information for our membership.

Professional Education eNews

The Professional Education eNews is distributed once a month to all SPA members. It provides the latest professional education news such as upcoming live online workshops and presentations, top visited Learning Hub pages for the month, and the latest Speak Up podcast episodes.

Student eNews

The Student eNews is distributed four times a year (February, May, August, November) to all SPA Student members. It provides information to assist and prepare speech pathology students for the start of their career.

Speak Out Blog

The Speak Out Blog is the home of longer-form articles and in-depth features that you would normally enjoy reading from the Speak Out digital magazine.

SPA members can access the Speak Out Blog on the Member Portal.

Jobs Board

The Online Jobs Board is a service to members and employing bodies. The Jobs Board lists details of speech pathology positions, giving professional experience required, work, and location preferences. 

The latest job opportunities are distributed to all SPA members once a month via the Job eNews.

Journals

International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology

The International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology (International Journal) is the Association's principle academic publication. The International Journal is produced six times a year in February, April, June, August, October and December.

Members of the public can purchase articles on the Taylor and Francis website.

SPA Members can access all articles for FREE on the IJSLP page of the Member Portal.

Journal of Clinical Practice in Speech Language Pathology

The Journal of Clinical Practice in Speech-Language Pathology (JCPSLP) is the Association’s major clinical publication and provides a professional forum for members. The JCPSLP is produced three times a year in March, July and November.

Members of the public can purchase articles on the Taylor and Francis website.

SPA Members can access all articles for FREE on the JCPSLP page of the Member Portal.
