The Association provides support for speech pathology students and recent graduates in the early stages of their
career. Students enrolled in a speech pathology course recognised by Speech Pathology Australia are eligible for this
category of membership.

Student membership gives you access to resources, events, networks and industry updates that can support your learning
now and help prepare you for your future career.
The Association offers all speech pathology students studying a recognised Bachelors or Masters free* membershipduring
their study. Students in are offered complimentary membership but must upload a letter of enrolment as evidence to
support this as part of the online application process.

Student member
The membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June and is renewed annually you can join at any time but the
longer you are a member, the more benefits you will receive (especially when you graduate and apply for Certified
Practising membership)
Graduating Student members are entitled to apply to upgrade to Certified Practising membership (with provisional
CPSP), at a reduced rate, provided they have held continuous membership for a minimumof 2 membership periods, prior to
applying for Certified Practising membership.
Being a continual student member will save you hundreds of dollars when you apply for Certified Practising
membership!
