Non Member Certified Practitioner

Speech Pathology Australia (the Association) offers speech pathologists the option of applying to become a Non Member Certified Practitioner.

A Non Member Certified Practitioner is a practising speech pathologist who has met Speech Pathology Australia's certification requirements to be eligible for Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status.

Non Member Certified Practitioners:

  • must meet the same qualifications, certification requirements and declarations as for Certified Practising Membership
  • are eligible to apply for a provider number with Medicare and use the title Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and post nominal CPSP
  • are  not  able to access any of the member benefits that are available to Speech Pathology Australia members as listed below.
