Branches

Speech Pathology Australia (the Association) is the national peak body for the speech pathology profession in Australia. The Association has established Branches in all states and territories of Australia.

Branch Executive Nominations are now open. Download a nomination form This graphic is associated with the hyperlink that precedes it and indicates the document is in PDF.

Each Branch has a Branch Executive that comprises volunteer speech pathologists from a range of settings, including: health, disability, education and private practice. Nominations are invited for Executive and Portfolio positions on an annual basis.

Branches provide a forum for the discussion of issues impacting on the speech pathology profession, as well as social and networking opportunities.

Branches also discuss Association policies and portfolio matters, respond in a timely matter to issues at the state/territory level, and act as sounding board and forum so the views of members may be passed on to the Association’s Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer.

Contact the Association if you want a contact in a particular state or territory Branch.
