Due to the impact of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, Taylor and Francis publishers of the Association’s International Journal of Speech Language Pathology, have suspended the printing of the journal.
Compromised mail services and general business disruptions at this time has made print production and distribution of print copies unmanageable.
The situation is being monitored and printing is planned to resume in May. Members will receive the print editions of the April and June editions at that time.
Articles continue to be published online.
The International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology (International Journal) is the Association’s principle academic publication. The International Journals is produced six times a year in February, April, June, August, October and December, and is distributed in conjunction with Speak Out.
The International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology promotes discussion on a broad range of current clinical and theoretical issues in speech and language.
Submissions may include experimental, review and theoretical discussion papers, with studies from either quantitative and/or qualitative frameworks. Articles may relate to aetiology, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, or theoretical developments in communication disorders and dysphagia across the lifespan. The Editor encourages submissions dealing with social or cultural issues to the field. Special issues or scientific fora on contemporary topics are published regularly.
