You are invited to join us for the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) Queensland Branch Annual General Meeting at Griffith University (Nathan campus). The evening will begin with food and drink before starting with not one, but TWO, guest speakers. These presentations will be followed by the (brief) official proceedings, and cake to celebrate SPA’s 70th Anniversary and 40th membership milestones.

About the presenters:
Vikesh Anand is the National President of the Australian Speak Easy Association, Australia’s peak body supporting people who stutter. He has grown up with a stutter and shares his experiences with anyone who will listen, with the understanding that his words may take a little more time to come out.
Rakesh Pillai is an audiologist, speech pathologist and Business Development Manager for National Hearing Care. He will be presenting on the impact of hearing health on speech pathology practice across the lifespan.
